Clean A Dirty Microwave in 5 Minutes With No Scrubbing

23 Nov

Have I caught your attention? Scrubbing the microwave clean after my husband decides to blow up left-over lasagna all over is one of the worst chores. Well, a friend of mine shared with me the other day an easy way to clean it:

You will need:

A microwave safe bowl

Vinegar or Lemon

1. Fill your bowl half full with water, then add a dash of vinegar or squeeze a lemon.

2. Put the bowl in the microwave, and turn on for 5 minutes.

3. Once the microwave is done, wait about a minute to take the bowl out. Caution: The bowl will be hot, and there will be lots of steam.

4. Once you remove the bowl, take a damp rag and wipe the inside of the microwave. The steam should have loosened up all the grime and wiping it off will be a breeze. The vinegar or lemon act as a deodorizer so that will help with any smells.

5. Enjoy your clean microwave! The best part-you didn’t have to break your arm scrubbing!

Why do I get the idea that this post is about me? Well, at least I won’t be getting yelled at as much anymore since there’s no scrubbing involved…

    Love you!
