Homemade Drain Cleaner

2 Dec

Got a clogged drain? Before going out and buying an expensive drainer cleaner try this first:

What you will need:

1 cup baking soda

1/2 cup vinegar

Directions:

1. Pour the baking soda into clogged drain, then pour in then vinegar. Immediately plug drain.

2. Let the baking soda/vinegar mixture sit for about 30 minutes. It is important that you DO NOT use the drain during this time.

3. Once the time is up, turn on the hot water and let run for 3 minutes.

*You can repeat these steps if needed.

Reasons to make this:

Costs only pennies to make

Uses only two ingredients, both of which are common household products

No harsh chemicals

Delivers just as good results as store-bought drain cleaner
